Happy new beginnings!

Hey there fellow humans! I hope you had a reflective new year and have tried little things to keep your spirit bright. I know for me a lot of life has happened and I wanted to circle around after the holiday season was over to share somethings about my writing process, what has worked, and what I plan to do this year to build on my works.

Achievements: One of the first things I have done since the last time I have made a post is reaching out to a local bookstore for selling my debut novel. I had ARC readers give me very good feedback and so far it has been described as an easy read and helpful.

I want my books to inspire people to take the time to read, to take the time to heal, and to take the time to rise from whatever is discouraging them. Something else I have done is drumroll please…….

I have SUBMITTED MY AUDIOBOOK FOR PUBLICATION!!!

This was such a journey, a learning curve and I poured every bit of skill that I had in audiobook production to make this a reality. I am hoping that by March 1st my audiobook will be available at all major retailers.

In other news……

On Jan 17th, I said goodbye to my rescue cat Peanut Butter. He was a formal feral so he was a little rough around the edges but overtime got used to his fur siblings and when he had a stable loving home his laid back personality shone through.

We didn’t know much about him, just that he needed a family and a home and love. It was sudden onset congestive heart failure. The vet said that I did everything right but it still feels wrong that he is no longer with us. Hug your fur babies extra for me tonight.
